[CA-SCGS] FTM User Group Notice for January 12, 2014

Post from Dick Humphrey
Family Tree Maker Software User Group – Meeting Notice, January 12, 2014

Can one FTM tree be split into separate trees without extreme tediousness?  YES, absolutely! Come and learn how to do this!

TREE OPERATIONS USING FAMILY TREE MAKER
  • Is there a difference between private facts and notes and privatizing an entire tree?
  • Back-up strategies and restore procedures. How does auto-backup work?
  • What’s the difference between exporting a tree (or part of one) to FTM, GEDCOM or Ancestry?
  • How can I merge two FTM trees together – and why would I want to do so?
The meeting is open to the public; attendees do not need to be members of SCGS.
