Editor Alice Fairhurst asked us to let everyone know that the Winter issue of The Searcher will be in your mailboxes in the next couple of weeks.

Alice apologizes for the delay in getting this issue out. Alice and her editorial staff were smacked down with a variety of illnesses and are now getting back on their collective feet.

Members of SCGS are welcome to read The Searcher online. Just click on the Members-Only button on the main page of the SCGS website.

With over 2000 members, the Southern California Genealogical Society is one of the largest genealogical societies in California. SCGS headquarters in Burbank, California, houses a 40,000+ volume genealogy library with resources throughout the US, Canada, and Europe.
